Some thoughts as I touch-up with RMS Beauty “un” cover-up…
A lot women continue to use conventional makeup brands that contribute to disease, skin irritation and infertility. Makeup that is formulated with known carcinogens and other toxins!
I suppose not all are informed about these risks, however it’s strange to me that many people do not have an intuitive sense that what they are putting on their bodies are unnatural chemical concoctions, like small daily doses of poison.
Many are still using products that simply cover the skin with dead, synthetic chemicals. This was an idea that really stuck with me when I first read RMS Beauty’s website a few years ago describing what sets their product line apart from other makeup brands.
RMS Beauty products are meant to function synergistically with the skin – makeup that not only enhances beauty, but also contains beneficial ingredients for skin health. Here is a quote from their philosophy page;
“RMS Beauty products are formulated with raw, food grade and organic ingredients in their natural state, allowing their living, healing attributes to penetrate and rejuvenate the skin. In their purest form, enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants and their healing properties remain fully intact, encouraging amazing potential for anti-aging effects.”
Why wouldn’t you chose makeup that has healing properties as well?
Anyways, that’s something I found really cool about RMS Beauty. Since then, the “un” cover-up has always been included in my beauty routine and here I am, almost seeing the end of yet another jar. See my previous “un” cover-up review.
I wear shade number 11, and in combination with Kjaer Weis Foundation “Paper Thin”, this is the *perfect* coverage for me.
If it weren’t for organic makeup brands like RMS, I wouldn’t even wear makeup.
