Okay, so I’m not a food blogger but I just made these muffins this morning and I loved them so much that I wanted to share them. Right on time for the beginning of October.
I love apple desserts in the Fall but its so hard to buy some which are sugar-free. For that reason I usually end up making my own treats at home and I always use either maple syrup, raw honey or coconut sugar.
For these muffins, I used raw honey and coconut sugar to sweeten, and honey crisp apples from the farmer’s market.
I couldn’t find a recipe with the ingredients I had so I ended up making modifications to some recipes I had found online and they turned out just right! So now, I’m sending it out to the world.
The only thing is, I want to try to make these with sprouted grain flour to make them healthier. I used organic flour but apparently wheat products are much better for your health when they are sprouted.
Anyway, without further adieu …
